Job Description:
Working as part of a team, advising clients on all key areas of regulatory compliance involving businesses, their directors and managers. Communicating with clients regarding regulatory matters. Reviewing client documentation in view of regulatory compliance. Drafting contracts and client documentation. Research on all areas of regulatory compliance. Articles and Financial Services Regulatory updates.
Qualifications: A newly qualified solicitor or a solicitor with 1 year pqe with outstanding academic credentials. Should have a particularly strong academic record in relation to business and or commercial law. Should have completed at least one seat in Financial Regulation with a further seat in Banking or General Commercial. Experience in the residential conveyancing process and litigation are useful but not essential. Should have worked in a City firm or large regional practice and will be looking to build on your specialist expertise and reputation. CCA knowledge and mortgage related experience. Experience of the FSA Regulatory Framework would be a real advantage
